You are in for a spin of entertainment from animation movies to the glittering era of aristocracy and much more.
Here are the most anticipated shows for 2022
The Gilded Age
This show started airing in January with its full throttle of aristocratic, glitzy drama. It’s about love, money, and the era of crime in19th century New York.
The show will deliver to your satisfaction the rich society with their coffers full of wealth and buried skeletons. It’s directed by Julian Fellowes, the same director who gave us Downton Abbey.
Gomorrah
The makers aired its 5th season this January. It’s set to take you into the lives of Camorra, a Neapolitan crime organization.
The story is told from the eyes of the leader’s right-hand man. His prime job is to protect his son, who will take over the organization, from any harm.
Pam & Tommy
Season 1 of Pamela Anderson and her husband Tommy Lee was released in February. The first season has eight episodes.
The story is about a time when their private sex videos were stolen and leaked on the internet. The story begins with the juxtaposition of a construction worker’s life with the glorious lifestyle of Pam and Tommy.
How the grudge develops towards the two stars and then the robbery to get even with them. Hence the events that led to the discovery of their personal videos unfold.
It’s a promising series if you’d like a sneak peek into the lives of the rich and famous.
Inventing Anna
It’s a short, sweet, and limited series about high society’s social and financial scams. This story is based on an article written by Jessica Presley in 2018 about a con artist named Anna Sorokin.
It’s a very interesting story and the actress, Julia Garner, plays her role ever so convincingly. However, retrospectively the story may seem a bit unrealistic. It makes you believe that you can always fool the world with your looks and attitude. Not saying that you can’t, just saying that it doesn’t work forever.
If you like scams that involve five-star hotels, luxury cars, and private jets then this is the show for you to watch.
A Very British Scandal
This BBC series revolves around the scandalous divorce of the duke and duchess of Argyll.
The duchess was accused of cheating on the duke with 80 other men, apart from other charges of fraud. The duke presented the evidence of the duchess’s affairs himself during the divorce proceedings. This was the first time that a woman was publicly shamed in a trial in Britain. The series also exposes the misogynist attitude of the press in the 1960s.
Ipcress Files
Based on the novel by Len Deighton, this spy thriller is set to keep you at your wit’s end.
The production has a big budget and even bigger dreams for the success of the project. Considering the young and talented Joe Cole and Lucy Boynton playing the lead roles, it’s definitely worth anticipating.
The Crown
Another season of the already popular series is due to be aired in November this year. The new season is set to tackle the tragic death of Diana. As well as, the political era of Tony Blair as PM, and the devouring fire at Windsor Castle.
Imelda Staunton will be playing the queen, with Elizabeth Debicki playing Diana.
The Lord of the Ring

Russian Doll
Another season of the Russian Doll is due in spring this year, so expect it any time from March to May.
Nadia’s journey in the time loop, reliving her 36th birthday, and dying in every episode will continue. However, Charlie Barnett, one of the co-stars said it will be ‘very different.’
